How long do I need to stay in Turkey for IVF treatment?
Most international patients stay in Istanbul for 2 to 3 weeks for a full IVF cycle at Memorial Hospitals. The exact duration depends on the protocol and treatment type.
- Ovarian stimulation and monitoring: 10 to 14 days
- Egg collection: performed on the final day of stimulation
- Embryo transfer: day 2 or day 3 after collection
- Pregnancy test: approximately 12 days after transfer
- Frozen embryo transfer only: 5 to 7 days
