Dr Aneez Ahmed is a pioneer in the field of cardiothoracic surgery in Singapore whose practice centres on patient-focused, evidence-based care. As Director and Senior Consultant at the International Centre for Thoracic Surgery in Mount Elizabeth Novena he brings 20+ years’ experience treating complex chest conditions.

His subspecialty in thoracic oncology means he manages conditions such as tumours of the lung, oesophagus and chest wall, using advanced minimally invasive and robotic approaches that minimise pain, scarring and recovery time.

Dr Aneez was the first surgeon in ASEAN to earn Level III certification in Robotic Thoracic Surgery from the European College of Cardiothoracic Surgery and led the world’s inaugural 3D-printed rib-cage reconstruction.
