Is there any cost to join the My 1Health network?
No. There are no membership fees, onboarding charges, or marketing retainers. My 1Health operates on a service fee model: you only pay when a patient referred through our platform actually receives treatment at your facility. If no patients come through, you pay nothing.
What types of patients will we receive?
Most patients referred through My 1Health are seeking specialist care in oncology, cardiology, orthopaedics, fertility, neurology, and cosmetic surgery. They are self-funded or insurance-covered international patients who have actively searched for treatment abroad and been matched to your facility based on their condition and your specialities.
What are the accreditation requirements to join?
We work with hospitals and clinics that hold recognised accreditations including JCI, ISO, and relevant national accreditation bodies. Facilities without formal accreditation may still be considered where there is a strong track record of treating international patients and verifiable clinical outcomes. Our credentials review team assesses each application individually within 3–5 working days.
How quickly can we start receiving patients?
Most facilities complete the onboarding process within 1–3 weeks of their application being approved. Patient inquiries begin arriving within weeks of your profile going live. The timeline depends on how quickly your team can provide the documentation needed during the credentials review and profile build stages.
Do patients pay your platform or our facility directly?
Treatment costs are paid directly to your facility by the patient, their insurer, or through direct billing where applicable. My 1Health charges a service fee to the facility only when a referred patient completes treatment. Payment structures are agreed during onboarding.
How does My 1Health handle patient documentation before arrival?
Working closely with your facility, our coordination team helps ensure all required documentation is in place before a patient travels — including medical records, treatment plans, insurance pre-authorisation, and visa documentation. Patients arrive with their case prepared and their treatment pathway understood, in coordination with your international patient team.
